Micro's Escape
A downloadable game for macOS
Micro's Escape is a futuristic infinite runner game created by me as my first ever game for my college project made in UE4 so don't expect anything too in depth.
In the game you play as Micro, a AI Robot living in a futuristic timeline where Robots are banned from entering public areas due to a public fear of Robots taking over humanity. After years of working in a dimly lit factory (similar to a prison cell) you lose your patience- breaking down the factory wall with your own 'hands' to escape from your past suffering.
Now that you are free you must run from the police who have placed barriers around the city to stop you in your tracks. How far can you go without falling for these traps?
Reccomended hardware:
Windows:
Nvidia GTX 1050ti or above
Mac:
Base Apple M1 or above.

Install instructions
Windows:
Download the Windows ZIP file, extract it to your desired location, open the newly created folder and select the 'Micro's escape' file listed as an application.
macOS:
Download the Mac ZIP file, extract it to your desired location (Applications folder for example) and double click the 'Micro'sEscape.app' file to launch the game.
If you are running a newer version of macOS the 'Unidentified developer' popup may appear- preventing you from launching the game. This can be disabled by entering the text below into the terminal:
sudo spctl --master-disable
Do this at your own risk as it disables gatekeeper on your Mac- Potentially leaving you vulnerable to attackers.
